Hey everybody!
I hope this finds you all healthy and happy in the New Year. I was blessed with a visit from this pretty lady over the Christmas holidays!

After three months apart, I finally got some much needed Momma lovin'. God was SO good to us-I was able to take a couple of days off to visit Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as spending Christmas together in London. Other than that, she spent lots of her time helping me in the shops and exploring Carlisle. I'm so grateful that she could see my "normal" while she was here, though.
Also, here's a huge THANK YOU to all of my supporters who sent Christmas cards over the holidays. There's no way you could possibly know how important those are to keeping me going.
In work news, we've (ok...mainly Matt and his team of Mighty Movers...) been moving St. James' charity shop to a new location just a couple of doors down from Cornerstone. It opens tomorrow at 10, so prayers for a smooth transition and wrinkle-free opening would be appreciated. Things were relatively quiet over the Christmas holidays, which was a nice change in pace for a bit. Especially because, if I'm being really honest, my heart had been growing increasingly weary in the last days before my break. Stress, homesickness, and a whole lot of questioning Him on a few things all added to the storm happening inside of me. No worries, though! I'm returning with a refilled heart, plenty of FaceTime minutes back home racked up, and a few new perspectives on my passions and where He's taking me/what He's doing now. Man, He's so faithful to us! :)
With love,
Britt
