Hey everyone!
There hasn't been much in the way of excitement around here lately...except that THE GRANDS CAME TO SEE ME!!! Ahem...I mean, my momma came too. But, let's face it, that's not nearly as exciting (KIDDING).
Lots of fun, laughs, and memories were made as we took over Glasgow and Ireland for a few days before settling down in Carlisle for the rest of my mom's stay. We were all also able to stay together at my gracious host family's house, maximizing our time together and allowing them to get the feel for what it's truly like living here. The Grands then ventured down to London for a quick tour of the sights before coming back up to the Lake District for a beautiful rest and ending in Carlisle for a couple of days before saying goodbye.
It was, truthfully, such an exciting answer to prayer that they were able to make it over and that there were no health issues while they were here. God is SO good and I'm so thankful to be able to show them a snippet of my life here in the UK as well as a beautiful new place for all of us (Ireland). It was the definition of a whirlwind adventure, but we're so blessed to have experienced it together.
Everyone is now safely back home and settled into their day-to-days. Thanks for all of the prayers that surrounded their journeys over and back and our time together here. Below you'll find a few photos of our Ireland adventure. Enjoy!
With love,
Britt
